*waves*

I've got a dumb cooking question. There are tons of websites for cooking first-time-round recipes, but not for left-overs. I have half a pork loin (that I actually cooked so that it didn't turn out tough or anything! yay me! I did it right this time!). But what can I do with it? Can I chop it up and put it into a casserole? But what kind? A variation of a shepard's pie? Or something else? Tacos? Would it make an okay taco? I'm having an utter and complete brainfart here. I'll probably make something with it tomorrow. Soup? What kind of soup? Argh!
Goldy (no, that's not his picture in the icon this time) isn't doing so well. His condition is worse than it was in October. The cardiologist took another x-ray of his chest, and he said his heart was larger, etc etc etc. And Goldy was already in bad shape when I brought him on his regular vet's advice. His coughing was almost nonstop, and the poor dog was miserable. The vet didn't want to give him any more cough medicine (Robitussin!) so that he could be sure whether or not Goldy was going into heart failure. The kids and I spent a good three hours crying about it on Tuesday. The vet wanted to try doubling his dosage of the diuretic he takes--and it's helped, but honestly...it's only getting worse.
