Today's numbers so far

The good thing is, I think I finally have a title for it.

And what else is in the news...I killed my beloved Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. It got a lot of punishment when my kids were on the computer (pounding on it when a game didn't go right, for instance), and of course, a whole lot of use when *I* used it. So it died. SOB! I had to run over to Staples and buy not another Ergonomic keyboard (hubby isn't working at the moment, and we need to slow spending down) but a regular, flat board. Ah well. At least it works.

The GOOD thing is, is that I'm writing this one on my PDA and its portable keyboard. If I'd lost all my data on my hard-drive, I would have been berift. Fortunately, the spousal unit has backed up onto disk everything I'd thrown into a shared folder (between our two computers).

The problem I've noticed with writing on a PDA is that the small screen tricks me into thinking my paragraphs and sentences are longer than they are -- meaning, when I finally transfer the fics onto my desktop, the paragraphs are all really short. So are the sentences. So, it's another adjustment.

Eyes of the God is the Title. But no more than that can I say. (heh heh)

yeah for back up. it's a wonderful feeling to have that much data on such a small disc. when i think of all the floppies i used to have vs. a few discs. *happy sigh*

i'm looking forward to reading your story. *g*

I love my ergonomic keyboard. I've been begging my boss to get me one for work.

I found that switching from the ergonomic keyboard to the flat portable keyboard that my PDA uses was a hard switch. The keys are pitched differently, the question mark key is in the bottom right corner for some WEIRDass reason on the portboard with the shift key right next to it on the left...

So, in a way this is nice, too. But, I'm going to get an ergonomic keyboard as soon as I can, dammit.

And those foldable portable keyboards are the kewlest things. The one I have folds down into a palm sized package that fits in my purse, along with the PDA. It is so easy to whip those puppies out in a coffee house and do some digital writing. Technology is amazing!
