Tall Boy came home from school yesterday with a 101.2 F temperature. He was feeling so oogy today that it took him most of the day to willingly go on the Xbox. He spent most of the morning in his bed listening to Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series on my iPod. When he's staying in bed like that and not on the couch, you KNOW he's feeling bad. Poor kid. But what this means is, since January, I haven't had one week when both kids were in school all five days.

And I've started listening to my body, because I'm finding out via when I DO go to the doctor's office, that often, I'm sick I don't realize it. So when I have to lie down in the afternoon, and feel tired all day, it probably means that yes, my body is fighting something off and I'm not the Magically Not Sick Ever Mom.

Tall Boy says he still feels oogy (it's 5pm) so we'll see if he goes in tomorrow.

Don't know if you've seen this or want to give it a try, but it can't hurt - as long as the dog doesn't get at it.

Thanks for the ref. Yeah, onions-not good for the pooches. We've made the mistake of giving him leftovers that I'd forgotten had substantial amounts of onion in them. Talk about an upset stomach on the dog. Poor thing. Poor us. Unfortunately, Tall Boy doesn't like onions much.

I HATE onions. *laughs* Luckily you don't have to eat them, just place them in the same room. I don't know if it works or not, but I've had it in my room for two days and I find I can breath easier in here now.
