This is going to sound pathetic, but I'm going to ask anyway. Tall Boy is wanting to celebrate with more family traditions. Now, the Guy is gone a LOT, and it's just me, and frankly, I'm not huge into the holidays. I never was one of those mothers who go all out for Christmas and decorating and baking cookies.

Now, I'm coming up blank for Christmas Eve traditions. I guess we could bake some cookies or something like that. What else is there to do?

We've always had the tradition that, before Christmas Eve Mass, each of us gets to open one present. And we always watch a Christmas movie - usually Scrooge or It's A Wonderful Life.

We don't do a lot for Christmas Eve really, lots of running around and doing last minute stuff. But the one present thing and Christmas movie, we've been doing since I can remember.

You can start your own tradition. As Moonshayde above mentioned, there's games - maybe Christmas Eve family game night, or the cookie thing, or really whatever would interest all four of you.
