I finally get a day off!

Kinda sorta, okay? Fra called me up, invited me and the rugrats to come on down! and we are headin' DOWN, baby!

I really need a nonGirlScout thing to do, and nonGirlScout people to talk to about other things like smut, slash, fics, writing, books, movies, TV shows...anything but GirlScouts.

And no, I won't forget to bring those boxes of Thin Mints with me.

Now, I just have to get over getting pricked and prodded by an paramedic person who works for an insurance company. They want to confirm that yes, we are Healthy Stock for whom they don't have to worry about losing money to due to nasty diseases and stuff like that.

Meanwhile, the hoosbond goes into work yet another day this weekend.

The paramedic was an hour late, it turned out, because she'd forgotten about the "spring forward" time change. To be fair, so had I. Luckily the hubby got up early and asked me what time it was - and I looked at a clock.

Her visit went smoothly. She took blood, which usually squicks me to no end, but her technique didn't hurt at *all*. I was ever so grateful!

The kids had a ball with each other in the pool and hot tub, and fra and I got to talk fic before she was pulled off for a realtor's talk. You'll have to read her LJ for more, if she posts anything.

the realtor thing can get *very* busy. which is a good thing although i imagine it would be tiring. ;)

it's wonderful to find someone who doesn't just 'rear back' and nail you with a needle. meep.

i wish we didn't have daylight savings....not that it messed me up that badly...i just don't understand why they still have it. heh.

Oh, tell me about it. I still have it out for our realtor (who was also working for the people selling the house we were renting at the time) who scheduled viewers to come through the house one week after I gave birth to my son.

The language I have for reserved for this woman is not fit for print. The more I think about those people traipsing through a house that was messy cuz I was taking care of a newborn, the sorrier I feel for how awkward they were when they realized they were invading my privacy, and angrier at the realtor for thinking this was okay. Bitch.

She got us the house we live in now, but...I'm never going to hire her again.
