I've had this Dell computer for about four years now, and apparently the virus that attacked my machine also triggered an internal flummoxation of the interior. I can see stuff when it's in safe mode, but I can't copy and paste what I can see over into my back-up harddrive. Thank god thank god I have that. Otherwise I would have lost ALL my photographs, which would have devastated me (but I have downloaded them onto Shutterfly and Snapfish, but that's not the same thing, you know?). I transferred my iTunes folder to the harddrive just before it melted down. And some other stuff, too.

Of course, this gives the Guy an excuse to go off into the internet and investigate new computers (CPUs only). Wow. You can get so much more for less $$ than we paid out for my computer.

If I didn't work with photos and my camera, I could probably make do with my little Asus-which works really well as an internet machine, but I need the storage space for the photos. Ah well.

I hate viruses.

Now, I have to convince Tall Boy to get off his Sunday morning cuddly-butt and get moving so that I can pick up more TP, some socks for him, and dinner stuff. Tonight I'm going to make soup out of the roasted chicken I bought last night.

I hope Sunday is going well for everyone. I'll see you later!

Yep. I just replaced a 4 year old $1400 Dell with a $700 Acer, and feel like I stepped into a whole new century of computing. I'm very happy with Acer. All my IT/tech buddies recommended it.
