I thankfully do NOT have to report in for Jury Duty tomorrow...PHEW. The Guy told me he was taking Mermaid in with him to work tomorrow, which meant I would have Tall Boy with me all day. I think I'm going to have to ask my neighbor if she can take the kids if/when I do get called in later in the week. Crap. I really hope I'm not called in at the end of the week. That would suck majorly. My mother is coming in for a short visit starting next Tuesday, and Mermaid starts her schooling up again on Monday.

I'm not sure what to do if I end up having to report next week.

I don't know how Orange county works, but I just found out that the five days counts Monday through Friday. At least in LA County, Thursday is the final day of jury duty for this week because of New Years Eve Day Friday.

Call the number on your summons: they'll be able to give a definitive answer. :-)

YAY!

I'm in LA County, too. I'm assigned to Norwalk this time. So, is my daughter. Same week. Different group.

The hard part is that two days this week, she has to work until 2:30 AM and I've got the plant shut-down. I guess there just is no good time, eh?
