I thankfully do NOT have to report in for Jury Duty tomorrow...PHEW. The Guy told me he was taking Mermaid in with him to work tomorrow, which meant I would have Tall Boy with me all day. I think I'm going to have to ask my neighbor if she can take the kids if/when I do get called in later in the week. Crap. I really hope I'm not called in at the end of the week. That would suck majorly. My mother is coming in for a short visit starting next Tuesday, and Mermaid starts her schooling up again on Monday.

I'm not sure what to do if I end up having to report next week.

From what I understand, the paper I have states that "you are placed on call for no more than five days and can be asked to report for jury service on one of those days."

I'm not 100% sure that means we'll have to call in on Monday because of the Friday holiday.

I'm going to call in today and talk to a person there about it. I really do have responsibility for Mermaid all day for school hours starting next week (and isn't she not thrilled) so, we'll see. It would not be good if, say, I got chosen for a jury on Monday, and had to go for the rest of the week.
