gategrrlI thankfully do NOT have to report in for Jury Duty tomorrow...PHEW. The Guy told me he was taking Mermaid in with him to work tomorrow, which meant I would have Tall Boy with me all day. I think I'm going to have to ask my neighbor if she can take the kids if/when I do get called in later in the week. Crap. I really hope I'm not called in at the end of the week. That would suck majorly. My mother is coming in for a short visit starting next Tuesday, and Mermaid starts her schooling up again on Monday.

Date: 2009-12-29 08:12 am (UTC)This is actually a postponed date, too. I chose a school vacation so that it wouldn't interfere with Mermaid's schooling, but...I might have to postpone it again. Argh.
The last time I had jury duty, I went in on the first day, and luckily all the jurors for the case were picked before my turn came up.
They're very particular about excusing people. But I can prove I'm responsible for Mermaid from 8 to 5 on the weekdays when school starts. Means I might have to go in and prove it, though.
