Cyndi Lauper on Bones *big thumbs up*

I did watch the opening episode of Bones this past week-most of it, at least. I missed some of the beginning. I thought Cyndi Lauper did a really good job! And it was refreshing to hear an ACCENT on a major network show that wasn't that vanilla bland midwestern sound that almost everyone on TV is trained to imitate.

I hope she shows up again!

I caught the premiere too and I pretty much just wanted all Cyndi, all the time.

They'd better watch it if they do have her guest again, because Cyndi and her character took over every scene she was in, whether or not she was dialed down or not.

I don't watch Bones, but I saw Lauper guest star on a soap I've been following for the gay storyline.

She played herself, did a Gay Pride concert at the local university, and tried to get the boys to kiss and make up after a Big Misunderstanding. What's not to like about Cyndi? *g*

Really?

I haven't kept track of her since the 80s and her hit singles like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"--it's great to hear she's got some staying power.

And Meat Loaf-he's guesting on another show, too. He's been taking acting lessons? omg

She did a similar guest star stint on Queer as Folk too, with some music on one of the soundtrack CDs.

She was on As the World Turns because it served as a promo for her latest CD, but also because she's a huge supporter of gay rights.

She was kinda awesome. I hope she appears again.
