gategrrlOMG! Someone out there actually has a copy of Storm Front by Jim Butcher that has NOT been exposed to cats; cigarette smoke; or moldy mildew! And I finally GOT IT OFFERED TO ME! I think.
Oh. Still waiting on the other BookSwap member to get back to the computer and either accept or deny the request. It'll probably be a Deny. It's like, everyone who has this paperback owns a freaking cat, or smokes, or hasn't kept good care of their book and exposed it to mold and mildew. WTH?

LOL, this is beyond funny. So far approximately 12 offers have been taken back by the book owners because they've just about ALL had cats! Or smokers! Not to worry. There's *another* waiting for a response by the book owner. We'll see what happens. I'm not urgently wanting this book, btw, it's just on a wish list of mine. I have them all in hardcover; I'm just wanting them in paperback because it's easier to read them that way!

Date: 2009-04-04 01:05 am (UTC)I'm realizing that I really *do* prefer paperbacks over the hardcovers! Aside from being cheaper, they're also portable, and if something happens to it, well...no big deal!
