He had dinner last night with Mallozzi. Saw the sets. Read some scripts.

Even so, I have very little hopes that this show is going to be any good. It's a step in the right direction (very small step) along with the casting of a reputedly very good actor from across the pond. But still...

I can't find the book available on mobibooks. Owell. I'm sure it must piss off the boys at bridge to NO end that they're having to work with creative consultants on their new baby and hire aging actors and whatnot. ;)

It being Joe M., I have no idea how much he'll actually *listen* to Scalzi (who actually knows how to write and PLOT and write entertaining characters). Mollozzi is something of a boob and couldn't write a decent female character to have something to screw.

Interesting there's been word on almost everything else except who the young lovelies are that are going to be emoting all over his huge new sets of the ship. Sounds like they're going for that huge Firefly set-thing that Whedon had done for his series.

You know, I'm more entertained by the hoops these idiots are jumping through, trying to get this show moving forward than I would be watching the actual show. *shakes head*
