Yeah, imagine that! There are two newstories that report the finding somewhat differently from each other, but those are the details. Weird. And disturbing. I dislike the idea of the neighbors barging in because they thought her apartment should be theirs. Doesn't say anything much for THEM now, does it?

I agree that it's disturbing that the neighbors only went in because they wanted the apartment. But I find it equally disturbing that this woman was dead for 35 years and no one even missed her. That's the saddest thing I've ever heard!

I want to know why no one went into the apartment for 35 years. Didn't they realize that the rent wasn't being paid? That the electricity was never on? That no water was ever used? That...well, lots of things that are day-to-day things. No one ever looked in her windows?

It seems strange to me that it took THAT LONG for anyone to notice anything.

Wow. There are some major discrepancies in the two stories. It's impossible to know just what happened. Except that the neighbors are clearly idiots.
