EEEwwwww!

OMG, what would YOU feel if, just after your mother dies suddenly from a stroke, you go through her house and find a body of another woman (presumably the woman who used to live with her a year or so ago) decomposing in a very smelly manner on the floor of her closet?

YUCK!

The Chicago Herald has the most way-out, unimaginable crimes and murders listed in it than any other paper I've ever seen. They have a VERY active Crime Section. Either that or Chicago is a crime wave all its own. Good thing it has Harry Dresden on the job. Jeez.

That specific one happened in Martinsburg, WV, about 1 hour 45 min NW of Washington DC, not Chicago. :)

Ah! You're right - this news site sometimes takes stories from many parts of the country. Either way, wherever it happened...ugh and yuck. I hope they figure out who the woman in the closet is.

Oh, thanks! I was about the strike Chicago off my list of "possible places to retire to." Fortunately WV's already off my list of possible retirement places because I'm from there, and let's just say this story doesn't exactly surprise me. Hell, I'm mostly just relieved it doesn't appear to be any of my relatives.

Dresden IS there for a reason.... (reading the most recent, or is it the 2nd last one, and ROTFLMAO!)
