Ah, Born sandals, how I love thee
Mar. 27th, 2008 08:35 amI have hard to fit feet - at least, in the past I have, due to inheriting my Scottish grandmother's long, narrow, large feet. These days, they aren't as hard to fit, BUT like other women, it's not always easy to find shoes that *look good* and flatter my feet (weird thinking about that). Normally, comfort is number one, followed by looks, but these days, I require both in my sandals, especially. Sandals are supposed to look good and dammit, look sexy!
Fortunately, my local TJ Maxx store hit the jackpot with me - they stock this wonderful brand called "Born" (there's supposed to be a diagonal strike-thru in the "O") that fit, are comfortable, and *look good*. Ignore the sultry models on the website: anyone looks good in these sandals. Here's a site that has a FAQ about their shoes, and some information. Honest to god, I don't normally gush over things like this (shoes) but these are, like SAS shoes/sandals, awesome on your feet. I've walked for hours in one pair of sandal/slides and my feet felt better afterward than when I wore my sneakers!
