I'm a spoiler-aholic, and I admit it. I love spoilers. Usually, they don't bother me (and indeed, they still don't). But I am discovering that the more I stay away from website dedicated to the shows I like, like Heroes, or Dr Who, or whatever, I find that I'm enjoying the episodes themselves a lot more. The Guy is an admitted spoilerphobe. He hates them; and when I know something he doesn't, more than not, I spill the beans and he gets ticked off at me.

Without meaning to, for instance, I blurted out who Jack Harkness on Torchwood/Dr Who *really* is and the Guy stared at me wide-eyed and flabberghasted. *

So, I'm not announcing that from now on I am avoiding spoilers like a plague. No way, I enjoy them way too much. But I don't think I'm going to seek them out actively like I used to for Stargate and Heroes, etc. They aren't killing my fun, but they are cramping the fun. I guess I'm in the spoiler-no-mans-land.

* Honestly, though? Big anticlimax. Like, that was the big mystery, "There is Another"? That was the big secret? Big whup, little pay-off.

I've been the moderator of a multitude of lists and forums where the discussion of spoilers was a given. I had to develop a thick skin towards them, because I had to police them to protect those who didn't want to know.

I'm relatively passive about them. I don't mind reading them, but I don't go out of my way to find them. I know some who pay to get access to spoiler sides to know about guest characters and get a peek at the scripts, but I don't really care about that sort of thing. But getting the "spoilers" TPTB put out anyway, such as who's going to gueststar, basic stuff about plots, etc. doesn't bother me at all.
