 Then you must check out Valley of the Kings, a rescue operation out in Wisconsin. They have some beautiful tigers, lions, and a Ligon named Nook who is over 1200 pounds. That's right. Plus wolf-crosses, including one fellow who's a Golden/Wolf cross, and gorgeous. All of the animals there have hard luck stories (some outright cruelty and neglect) but look well-loved and cared for now.

And VofKs has some awesome t-shirts to buy, if you like very nice wildlife shirts. I might order one myself. 

Check it out; it's a very worthwhile site to visit.

Yeah, I've heard a LOT about Tippi Hendren (last name?), the actress doing animal rescues, too. I keep remembering and then forgetting that it would be a great place to take the kids (or just myself).

You can't take kids, sadly (18 and over ONLY - I think because you get to get so close to the cats), which is why I haven't been in a while. I don't want A to feel left out.
