(no subject)

 I'm in the understore parking lot of Target, packing the bags of school clothes I just bought for my rugrats into the trunk, see a flash of orange out of the corner my eye, and then slide into my driver's seat. But then I notice, hey, that's a sportscar! But it's not like any sports car I've ever seen, and I get out of the car (I never do that once I'm in the driver's seat) and walk into the parking slot opposite mine.

It was a bright orange, low-slung Lotus. Wow. What a beauty.



See it? This isn't the car I saw, (someone in Japan took this picture) but one JUST like it. I'm NOT a car person. But WOW. And the one I saw was a hard-top.  But...I want it. When I'm rich. Heh. Yeah, right. 

My other thought, other than, "OMFG IT'S A LOTUS!" was, "WTF is a Lotus doing in a basement parking lot at TARGET??"

On my way home, I figured it was because the person driving it couldn't afford Rodeo Drive anymore.

LOL, that could be. It might also have been a rental, although the rental fees for a car like that... I can't imagine what the payments on a car like that must be like, rented or to own.
