gategrrlI just spent the day at the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival at the Stevenson Ranch! Hot as heck, it was, and luckily I thought to bring along one of Mermaid's muscle relaxant pills (she started suffering a couple of hours into it). But it was a lot of fun - and a lot of $$ (but let's not talk about that, eh?). Lots of people in costume, and some actors. It's not nearly as large as the local Rennaisance Faire, but just as fun.
There were lots more things to do than what we did on a general admission, but it was just as well. The kids were pooped by the time we got back to our car. But alas, none of them fell asleep on the way home. If anyone is in the area, go for it. It's fun!
