This season started out with the Big Case belonging to a new character - sort of Alan Shore Redux, only a younger guy.
Alan was hardly seen in the courtroom at all, and when he was, it was always with Hands, the lawyer who has Asbergers syndrome.
I guess my excitement was because, as wonderful as Hands is played by his actor, I was getting tired of him ALWAYS being the reason Alan went into court for most of the season.
In this case, also, it was a MURDER case, which is where Alan really seems to show his stuff, and the writers seem to enjoy putting in twists of character, and twisted characters.
