This beautiful plaque is from the first Official Stargate Creation Convention in 2004. It was given to Gold Ticket Patrons as they checked in. At 12 x 15 inches, it's substantial. The 8x10 photograph of Richard Dean Anderson as Colonel Jonathon "Jack" O'Neill (that's what the metal inscription says!) is under glass. There's also a slot on the back to hang this memorabilia proudly up on your wall. This plaque, fondly referred to as the Jack Plaque by my friends and I, has been removed from its box only three times (the third time for this horrible photograph).

Keep your eyes out for the eBay auction! I'll post it the URL up here as soon as I figure out how to work the eBay site.

I honestly don't know how much it's "worth" - but I looked on eBay and couldn't find another one like it, nor anything remotely comparable. So...

LOL It's RDA, pretty, pretty RDA. *g* Definitely worth at least $50. ;) It's gorgeous. ::paws::

If only Jack and Daniel didn't need their shots this month. :P

I'm sure you'll get the $50 if not more if you put it up on eBay.

I bet you could fetch more than 50 bucks for it on ebay. It's just that pretty. The cons never gave anything as nice since then, imo.

I'm going to put it up on eBay tomorrow - I'm waiting for daylight, so I can take a better picture of it. Oh, and I guess I should weigh the silly thing. It must be at least 5-7 pounds.

You mean CC isn't giving out stuff like this anymore to their Gold Ticket clients? Huh. Hm. Well, the first official convention and all, I guess it's not surprising they gave something like this away. Honestly, though, all of us who got it, opened the box, looked at each other incredulously, and started giggling, wondering what the heck we'd do with a plaque like this!

Oh, I remember that! Mine's still here in it's box, I never took it out. I thought-- what the heck do I want one of RDA for? Why not give out DANIEL? Of course, now I realise--they aren't going to GIVE away what they can SELL for money.

What they've been giving out ever since are photos of RDA or Tapping. I didn't bother collecting mine.

You aren't kidding :) I've been looking at the action figures and the Daniel ones are going for more $$ than any of the others. Heck, Space & Toys online store just sent out an email offering a buy one, get one free so you can get a Sam & Jack. Of course, they don't tell you the only single Sam figure you can get is actually Replicarter. Meanwhile, the Daniel figure alone is going for $49.99 (yes, the Black T-shirt one).
