Harvey Korman, RIP

Harvey Korman, Carol Burnett's sidekick throughout her incredibly funny variety show died on Thursday. I had no idea he was 81 (don't the people you've seen on television when you were a kid never seem to actually grow old, no matter if you've seen recent interviews with them?). I've noticed that there's a new wave of deaths in the entertainment industry, just like there was in the mid eighties, when Newsweek had a centerfold spread framed in black of all the notable people who'd died in the past year.

RIP, Harvey Korman, I know I'll miss you. And Madeline Khan. And all of the other comedians who've gone before.  :-(
