It's weird, to be true, I've never seen anything quite like this on the screen...but then, it IS the Wachowski brothers in charge. Or the Wachowski siblings? (isn't one of them slated for a sex change, or am I misremembering a report somewhere?)

Why  do hamburger packs (fresh ground, from the store) always come in four packs, while the hamburger buns come in six to a pack?

Why do hot dogs come eight to a pack, while hot dog buns come ten to a pack? 

Why is this? Can't the manufacturers agree upon a set number for each?
