I love the library system. I especially love the interlibrary loan system [even if it's a PITA for librarians :-( ]

I think I'm crazy... (NaNoWriMo post)
Sep. 27th, 2006 01:03 pmNo, I don't think I'm crazy for participating a third time in NaNoWriMo (I've got this tidy little horror story idea that I'm working on).
No, I just sent an email to the Municipal Liaiason coordinator for NaNoWriMo. For my area. There doesn't seem to be anyone local for my area. And I stopped in at my local library to see if they might be interested in sponsoring for it this year - either donating Write-In space for a few hours on a weekend, or at night. I may swing by the local Barnes and Noble as well, for a once a week evening Write-In, also. I've never been able to go to one of these things, because usually, they've been on nights I couldn't make it, or in locations that wouldn't really make sense for me to get to, time-wise.
Yep, last year bought the t-shirt. (really. I did) This year, I'll see if I can do more.

For those who are interested, The Nine, a show starring Tim Daly, and the actor who played Dr Phlox on Enterprise (he was the only actor besides one other who made an impact, IMO) is premiering next Wednesday at 10pm after Lost.
Here's to hoping its premise and execution pans out well! I still hate that Eyes (also starring Daly) was cancelled so soon.
