New Fandom coming up...

A friend, who shall NOT remain nameless (you know who you are, Karendreamer!) lent me the first four of Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden books, and I am now hooked. Even better is the fact that The Dresden Files are coming to television, and I could not imagine a cooler set of novels be adapted to the little screen. His writing reads like a movie, frankly, with some inner dialogue, but enough of it actually demonstrated in *show* (not tell) that I can't see the conversion from novel to screenplay damaging Harry and his cast of characters appreciably.

I am sooo gonna love the new series.

And I've already gotten to see the new lead on another current favorite of mine, Medium, in the episode "I Married a Mind Reader". Thanks for letting me know that, too, Karen! :::smoochies:::
