OMG. I'm rereading the rules and the length of the list and how many people signed up (hey- ladyjax ! We're both doing WW2 prisoner movies!), and I start thinking, this is going to be so CRACK! The Guy went out and bought a copy of Stalag 17 for me last week, and I finally had a chance to sit down and watch it. Holy crap. It's an Wilder movie. I mean, I *knew* that, but I'd "forgotten" how good it was. It was also the first time I'd watched the movie from the very beginning to the very end.

I'm thinking up the different situations and who could play what role, and I want it to be *GOOD* and I'm so afraid I'm going to fall flat on my face.

Thank god I have my "writing music" downloaded into my PDA so I have everything I need in one place while I tear my hair out.

I had thought of signing up for The Great Escape, since it's one of my all-time favorite movies, but I got overwhelmed just thinking about all the characters in the film and how hard a handle I'd have on translating it to Atlantis terms. So of course I go for the *other* classic POW film, of *course*. Doh.
