Friday night I went to this amazing cultural night with Mermaid (9), who complained the entire drive (about 40 minutes) about how she didn't want to go to this, hated being in the car, etc and so on. ::roll eyes::
I did manage to get some photos in the darkened theater. Even though Manipur is part of India, the people there are not of Indian heritage - they live in the Himalaya's, and without an exception, everyone in this dance/drumming/martial arts/singing troupe are WOWza - especially the guys with the drums. OMG. Drool. Drool. and Drool. Everyone danced and moved around without shoes on for the entire evening. Lots of jewelry, brightly colored clothing with sparklies - all very exotic!

These were the hottie drummers and martial arts guys. Gorgeous. Their drumming act was amazing, and got the Mermaid to stop complaining! After the show started, she was fine, and was glad we went. Kids!
