I've hit another snag - I'm boring myself. The characters are all *waiting* and moving around. I guess I should do what I did last year, which was start throwing snags in as I lost interest. The snags usually turned out okay, and fit into the overall story, so.... will start up later on tonight after the kids have gone to bed.

It sucks. Actually, I did add another 200 words or so before I started dinner up and did other stuff, but then I fell asleep on the couch.

Right now all the characters feel like they're at a tea party, and there's nothing urgent going on - when in fact there's a plague starting up that's killing many people, but it's only just starting to hit home.

You're the third person on my LJ friends who's complaining of writer's block or similar today.

I've got it too. It's gotten so bad I've had to resort to my old cure: assign myself something easy, silly and totally fun to write. Usually outlandish porn, but in this case it's a SG idea. If that doesn't work, I'm in trouble.

Someone on OS is writing on the "In Ten Years XXXXX will be doing" threads that Daniel and Jack will have resisted Vala, but she will have come on to Teal'c -- and he'd have taken her up on it.

I laugh MAO every time I read it (on the different threads) because I can totally see it.

Vala/Teal'c!!

Oh, yeah, I can see that! Teal'c doesn't seeem to turn down many offers, and why wouldn't Vala be interested?

I think it'd be funnier tho if Jack was open to it but she never hit on him. ;)
