Cool command feature on Word
Oct. 11th, 2005 02:17 pmFor those of you who like to lift fanfic off the web, those webpages that set the text within tables can be a major PITA, esp if, like me, you like to download your fic onto your PDA via eBooks, which does not take text with frames.
If you go onto the Table Menu, then click on "convert", two choices pop up: text to tables and tables to text. If you have a fic inset into a table, highlight the table, then click on the "tables to text" command. And there you have it, a fic that's free of that nasty table. AND, the text stays in its formatting, so you don't lose paragraphs, etc.
