I just finished that book this morning, after I had to stop from fatigue at 4 am this morning. I am so tired. And now, thanks to Stephen King, Maine will forever be a state riddled with unnamed evils, perverted relationships and wife beaters. *sigh*
And now, onto "Christine", which I also borrowed from the library yesterday. I don't think this book has anything whatsoever to do with his Dark Tower series, except perhaps as a retrofit or a subconcious addition into his mental mythos. I find I can deal better with his horror and stories when I realize that to him, they take place on alternate Earths. Really. Then I don't get so creeped out by some of the books.
