These are all the salad dressings I poured down the sink and stuck into the recycling bin this afternoon. Some of them had expired in 2006, or in 2007 and 2008, and two of them expired this month. Bleh.

Next, I'm going to go through my spices *again* and maybe neaten them up with these bottles I got a few years ago. But...I kinda like my spices in their original bottles so I can buy the same brand again if I like it. Okay so maybe I won't.

The fridge looks a lot cleaner and neater now. I cleaned the shelves, which were mucho grosso out material. And I moved the bread out of this hidden shelf area to one that's right underneath the top shelf. That'll mean I'll know where it is at all times. Threw out some veggies no one was touching, even though I'd bought it for them (Guy, looking at you).

Getting rid of those darned salad bottles alone cleared up so much clutter in there it's incredible.

That looks incredibly like the crop of bottles living in my fridge right now. I should really take a page out of your book and have a mass cleaning, too. I do use a couple for marinades, but for the most part for salads now I make my own with Good Seasons, since I can cut the oil and increase the vinegar to my own taste

I also cleared out a few bottles that were sitting in the shelves in the door, and combined two terriaki bottles into one, and tossed the left over bottle. Moved the milk out of the door and onto the top shelf.

Only if there aren't any incipient sludge monsters in the making in your fridge!

Heh. and I thought I was the only one who had expired foodthings filling my fridge and cupboards. (I found a can of soup the other day that had expired in 2005. I think it's time to clean out my cupboards too...)

What prompted your cleaning spree? :D

To put it bluntly, the fridge is a disaster area, and messy, and yes, disgusting. I've been meaning to clean it up and clear the crap off the shelves for a while, but I'm a Master Procrastinator.

I decided I'd do something nice for the Guy, I guess, and for the rest of the family. ;-)

LOL I love this picture! hehe Several months ago, I went through my pantry and found boxes and cans of stuff that had expired in 2006 and some things went as far back as 2004. I also had some stuff that was so old, it was not dated--stuff I probably brought with me from Alaska. (We moved here in 2003.) For whatever reason, I never went through my spices, though, and finally did that just before the holidays this year and found the same thing--some stuff that was so old it was not dated and many dating back many years.

So...hee! I guess I'm not the only one who keeps old stuff. lol That is a lot of salad dressing.
