Which was, however, treading on uncomfortably embarassing ground with the full-on jealousy between Shawn and Juliet's older super-soldier brother. It also felt like it was shot differently from other episodes (new director? a director trying out new moves, or established older ones?).
I'm not even sure if this was the first episode of the new season! Overall, I liked it. It was nice to see that someone actually appreciated Shawn's detective work who wasn't in the police department--I guess Juliet's brother knows a good clue-hound when he sees one, and that was a pleasant surprise.
It would have been nice to have known before hand that Juliet *had* a brother, so one of the final scenes would have had more emotional freight.
And, that's about all.
