I just cleaned our Mr. Coffee coffee-maker with a vinegar/water mixture and rinsed it out a couple of times with water.
That sure helped the taste of my coveted Dunkin Donuts cinnamon coffee!
Also looking at birthday presents for the Guy, who turns 44 in a little over a week...and I'm leaning toward getting him a kick-butt coffee maker that can be timed for an early morning brew as he gets out of the house, AND that makes a decent cup of joe. I think I found one (by a Japanese company, no less) and it looks like what I'm looking for. I fell in love with the coffeemaker at my dad's house (a Keurig single brewer) but it doesn't fit the profile of *our* house, where the Guy likes to make a couple cups and take it in the car for the ride to work.
*sighs* He is so hard and easy to buy b-day presents for-if you know what I mean.
