It can't just be me

gategrrlIt can't just be me, but are drivers here in the LA area just driving more bonkers than usual today? Seriously--there was a student driver on the freeway as I was driving to the vet to pick up x-rays and dog-drugs who kept edging into my lane. I thought it was a yellow cab at first because it was a yellow car. Then just...other drivers were being *weird*. I can't pin it on any particular driver. I had to be REALLY careful changing lanes all during the drive there and on the way back.
And then, after I got back to deliver the x-rays to the other vet offices, I parked in this spot. Not too many cars. After I dropped off the x-rays I made sure to wait while the old woman next to me in her bright blue small Ford car backed out and left. I waited for just a moment, I swear, made sure she was GONE---and slowly backed out. I did look in the rear view mirror, but all I saw was gray, before I heard an awful BUMP! sound, and quickly went back into my parking spot. It was *another* car, a medium sized sedan. I jumped out of my car, and the woman who was sort of sitting there in the middle of the parking area jumped out, too, but I blathered, "But, but, " looking for a dent, "But" And she took a quick look, said, I'm sorry, and OMG, drove off so fast I couldn't even figure out where she went. There wasn't a dent on her car, and not one on mine (a new one,anyway).
But she was just *sitting* there where my car was backing out!
The rest of the drive home, I kept a really close eye out on other drivers. I swear, it's not me.
