Is anyone planning on going this year?

Wow, it's coming up soon, and for ONCE, I managed to see the website before the date was past. 

Is this usually a good convention? Is it heavily media-related, or more "fun" related? Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I haven't been in years, but I'm considering going. Another lady on my FL always goes.

I think it's media and writing related both.

No. I've thought about it, but I'd never get a chance to attend the meetings, which are on a weeknight. I do watch their LJ, though, and having done so, there seems to be a fair amount of infighting going on that I would rather not get involved in. There's a lot of drama.

Once upon a time, I went to some meetings, but that was like a million years ago. :)
