I tend to like TPTB of Supernatural, too, for the most part. They seem humble and self-deprecating and fun. They don't take things too seriously. They listen to the fans and are responsive, but not driven by it. In interviews, they are complimentary about their actors and the crew.
They also seem to enjoy interacting with fans in fun ways. For instance, when the guys mentioned a phone number on the show, it was a real phone number that fans could call and leave messages, and in an interview, the producer talked about how much fun it was to listen to the messages. The network is having a contest for fans to create a new promo vid for the show. They do stuff like that which involves the fans in fun ways without giving the fans control of anything. *g*
TPTB of Supernatural also admit when they're wrong and then go ahead and change things. They're willing to try things, but if it doesn't work, they do something else. They don't doggedly stick to the same path no matter what like TPTB of Stargate always seemed to.
I've been watching Heroes, but so far, I'm still not sure I even like the show. *g* I don't dislike it, but nothing is drawing me into it so far. It's nice to hear that TPTB of this show seem like nice, reasonable people, too. *g* My son wanted to watch it, too, so we've been watching it together, so I'll keep watching for now.
