Yes!!!!!

Netflix finally downloaded and is streaming the BBC 2010 Sherlock! I was so bouncy happy last night! I watched the first episode about half-way through to make sure they did a good job of converting it, and it looked good. Yayz!
Yeah, I know. Some on my flist don't like the show's projection anyway, but the interview with the showrunner here in this article really takes the cake.

I don't know if I can take that sort of sexism. Just let the woman solve her mothers murder and be done with the stupid conspiracy. One of the commenters on the article rightfully points out how what they're planning to do is incredibly sexist, illegal, and a host of other things.

The Guy, who used to love the show and watch it with me, doesn't do that much anymore: the show has lurched into a formula, the detectives do their detecting OFF SCREEN and it's like magic, and cases get solved within a week. He has a point. And now there's this crap?

Oh yeah--more on this trend later, but honestly! Two shows I like to watch are killing off two characters I like very much in their season finales.

With THIS kind of shit going on, I think these showrunners can guarantee that THIS viewer won't be watching their shows much longer, if at all.
