Nope, I didnt make it.

The women who did make it onto the design team for Crazy Daisy are...like WOW. I'll have to content myself with posting my pages up on the Creating Keepsakes boards and hoping I'll be discovered. You know, like I'm sitting at the lunch counter in a diner in Hollywood and Vine, flipping through my 12x12 scrapbook, coyly looking out the corners of my eyes to see if an unoccupied publisher/editor is glancing around for unfound talent. Heh. Like THAT'll happen. The main thing is, I'm happy with what I produced. I'm not hugely into tons of layered stuff on my pages--I'm into getting the photos onto the page with some explanation of what's going on in the picture and who is in it and why and all that.

*shakes head* But to think of all that art school education that went to waste. Well, okay. I met the Guy at art school. He was a great find. And who knew an animation student would actually do so well? And help me produce two amazing kids to boot? And keep me in supply of coffee, Fitflops and Lands' End t-shirts? I didn't have the passion for it in the end that so many sucessful artists need in order to "make it" or even continue creating.
