Ugh, the air got really bad this morning. Even though the air-quality map says that the air is Moderate in our area, we're right on the border. It's really bad right now. Hopefully the air will clear or blow another way later today. Mermaid has a standing appointment in LaCrescenta on Thursday. The air quality is very bad that way (it's just south of the fire action) on Foothill Blvd.

I am very hesitant to walk Goldy in this air. His breathing is difficult enough without aggravating it with all the particulates floating around in the air.

I swear I can feel waves of heat on the air flowing past my house. I just stood outside for a couple of minutes and mixed in with cooler breezes were some pretty intense hot ones, too. It doesn't feel "natural".
