 OMG! This is news? This is on MSNBC? I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, but...give me a break. 

Okay, how many men HAS Angelina Jolie bonked? And, heavens, no mention of the women she's slept with, either?

Of course, I know I'm helping with their page count, and probably inflating their article just a tiny bit, but really. This is news? Why no article on how many men Brad Pitt has slept with? Has it been four, too?

I'm  just having too much fun on MSNBC today!

This article gives a nice run-down on the fates of co-hosts on The View, Barbara Walter's daytime TV talk/issues show, starting with a paragraph on the View hostess who wouldn't confirm one way or the other if she knew the Earth was round.

If you read this article, you might start wondering if The View is really good for women or not! I think...I'm not so sure. These women keep sticking their feet in their mouths, lose perspective of where they are, or seemingly go off the deep end (although Star Jones really didn't need The View for that).

Cable Companies Beware!

There's a law suit targeting all of the major cable companies, naming the antitrust laws.  The suit says that cable companies make tons of money bundling channels people don't want, making them pay higher bills for their television, and that customers should be able to pick and choose what channels they want in their own bundle.

Here's an excerpt:

 

"The antitrust laws protect the right of choice," antitrust lawyer Maxwell M. Blecher said. "Here the customer is denied that choice."

The complex web of contractual arrangements among service providers and networks amounts to a monopoly or cartel that has "deprived consumers of choice, caused them to pay inflated prices for cable television and forced them to pay for cable channels they do not want and do not watch," Blecher wrote in the complaint filed on behalf of cable subscribers in several states."
