Help me, my flist!
Apr. 28th, 2007 04:56 pmCan any of you help me out? You know how it is when you hear a song on the radio, and they never ever say who sang it? And then you can remember only a little bit of the lyrics? I've been all over the internet lyric search engines, and all I get are spewed answers that are nothing near to what I'm looking for:
A woman sings this song.
Part of the lyrics are: "You still love me, underneath it all" (for a long time, I thought it was saying, "You still love me, unbelievable"!)
After that phrase in the lyric, you hear a horn/s going up in scale, and the refrain is repeated about three times, I think?
The style is NOT hiphop, or raw or jumpy or dancy. The pace is kind of medium. I don't think it'd be considered dance music.
It's possible that the singer is Marieh Carey, or Christine Aquilera, or someone else like that, but I haven't been able to locate it on the charts, either, by cutting and pasting titles and artist into Google. I come up with nothing. It's frustrating.
