Note to self: Do NOT answer the cell phone when in the veternarian's office with the dog, who is willing to attack another dog, and you're about to be checked in, and it's a LOUD office. Next time, just let voicemail take it.

I've been bad. All the librarians on my flist are going to tsk*tsk* at me, and then laugh their butts off. I got a letter in the mail from the Local Library System telling me that I owe $65.oo in fines, and if I don't pay Right AWAY, it's going to a collections agency.

::facepalm::

This is a fine for two books I took out in June, and then time ran away from me, and the library isn't open at times when I can get there very easily, or when I drive by I didn't have the damned books with me...ugh.

UPDATE:

Little Guy fell asleep in the car on the way, and I carried all 50lbs+ of him, AND the books (all two of them) into the library. The librarian saw the letter I'd gotten, and surprised me by being a little ticked off at the collections department, who ADDED about $30 to the penalty! I was surprised because this is a usually gruff older woman whom I usually hope I don't get when I check books out, or in. She doesn't have the greatest bedside manner, you could say. But Thank You Librarian!
