So I started "Snowflaking" for NaNo, so I wouldn't start on November 1rst with a look and feeling of utter panic punctuated by "Oh Fucking Shits, What am I doing this to myself again for?" as I stare at the computer screen wondering what to do next.

I've decided to continue with the story from last year, which didn't have an ending, it drifted off into "WTF do I do NOW" land - and now I have the next part getting sketched out slowly but surely. It might mean revising the fates of a few of the characters from before, but that's okay, since nothing was written in stone.

Now, the rules of NaNo state that you can't start before November 1rst. The actual writing, that is. I've been going through my rough draft of last years', and although I WAS doing some revising earlier this year, I stalled out in the same place I always do. This past weekend I hauled out the printed version of the rough draft and started circling the page numbers of the later sections that I haven't gotten to so I can fill in the missing parts. Lots of holes.

There was one character that I wasn't sure if she was killed off, or nearly so. No, make that two. One of them is partially there.

And I still don't have a title.
