Okay, I broke down and watched it
May. 20th, 2005 12:13 amOkay, the second half, more or less. Here's what I wrote in Superbadgirl's LJ as a comment:
Okay, I don't watch CSI, usually, but since I heard the squees heard round the world, I couldn't resist, and turned it on.
Wow, that was frickin' amazing. (holds pinky up to mouth like Dr Evil)
And Tarantino directed, huh -- that explains why there was so much more *warmth* from the actors and actual HUMANITY coming out of them, in waves, unlike the usual episodes I've seen. Usually they come across as sticks, puppets pushed around by the script, and looking all so cool in their Fashion Forensic outfits.
Shit, they should get Tarantino to direct more often. Or at least get some hotter (as in warmer toned) directors to make it this interesting more often!
Sorry, not meaning to diss on your show. But I really did like this particular episode.
