Puter Update (see previous entry)
Apr. 21st, 2005 11:46 amOkay, I went on the other computer this morning, and clicked on the drop-down entry. And I noticed that *I* wasn't logged on from there - I was only able to see some posts, and then none of the comments on other posts (that I had limited to Friends, etc).
So, anyone going on the *other* computer will see only what anyone skipping through the LJ ethernet will see. I'm relieved. I guess when I logged in the other day, I had clicked on the "log on only for this session" button.
But, it is a lesson on making sure about your log-on status, if you're the sort (like me, I guess) who does sometimes post stuff that's a little more sensitive.
Okay. This identity theft the spouse experienced really did/does have me more rattled than I thought. Shit. I hate computers and the records they leave behind, sometimes.
