Argh! I hate when I put my keys down somewhere, think I'm going to remember, and then FORGET! Still looking for them...

Edited to add: the Guy found them where I'd last put them. Where did I put them? Up on the corner of the mantel piece, of course. I remember thinking that "of course I'm not going to forget where I put them!" when I put them up there.

Jeez. Duh. I had a Goldy moment.

Oh, I hate that, too! In this house, I have a hook where I usually hang my keys, but if I don't put them there for some reason, I always think that I'll remember why and where, but I never do. *g*

I have a shelf in the living room, near the front door, that I usually stash my key ring. Unless I don't, of course. It's the first place I look, because it's the habitual place. And when I don't...ugh. I need something to help my short term memory, or else I'm getting early onset senile dementia.
