I can't keep titles straight.

Here's the short version: parts were amusing. Vala was amusing. Good thing Daniel had her to weep on at the end, god knows NO ONE else on the team is good enough or supportive enough or sensitive enough or pretty enough to give him comfort. Or has the boobs to do it. Except maybe Sam - they made sure to make it clear how much contempt she has for the only guy who can not only keep up with her, but smack the pants off her. (that would be Rodney) Sam's been pretty useless lately, although she looks good being useless. Speaking of useless, Vala was pretty much useless in this show, unless it was to add some humor in a cheap and easy manner to the script.

I liked the Ascended chick. Didn't like Weir-stick-up-her-ass. WTF was it with Sheppard "bonding" with Mitchell? And why was everyone up and down the line rolling their eyes at Rodney? The only person who didn't, was Daniel. Guess they didn't want all that acting power in one room (that would be MS and DH).

Mitchell was...okay...Browder still needs to do a lot more work on that character to make him REAL. But, I don't think that's Mitchell's purpose. He's supposed to be the cypher, the Military Guy. No wonder there was that scene between the Testosterone Twins of Mitchell and Sheppard.

It was good enough to hold my attention, got a few giggles.

Again, not into the titles of the show. I caught the beginning and some in the middle, and some of the end, so my viewing was spotty. It was cool seeing druggy guy as the same actor as the one in the original Movie Stargate. That was cool. Although, as usual, when you look too deep into this show, you find maggots under the pretty, the actors were clearly having fun acting OOC and Totally In Love. I did see the Sheppard-Beckett scene in the Jumper. Poor Beckett. Shep's expression when the doctor started crying was priceless.

Strangely, what I saw of Weir was rather fun. Why don't those writers give Tori H some REAL script to chew on a regular basis? When she has a chance to break out of the Stick-in-her-ass Weir, she's quite appealing. Unlike with Tapping, I think I'd enjoy seeing more of Tori H's personality show up in her character. It would warm Weir up tremendously.

Did Druggy Guy actually bed Weir down, or Teyla? Was that at all insinuated? Just curious - I don't feel motivated to rewatch what I have seen at the moment. Frankly, with Weir...well, under the influence, date-rape drug...no, I hope it didn't happen. Another Hathor scenerio. It would never be dealt with.
