Music recs wanted
Dec. 13th, 2005 12:29 amI am not a person big into music. The only time I buy music is when I get an offer in the mail from one of those DVD clubs the music companies like to pull people into.
Be that as it may, when I write, I sometimes like to have nonobtrusive music in the background. The music channel on cable (on the television, yes) has a channel for "atmospheric" music - which is essentially "new age" soothing music, I guess. (and of course, when I had it on one night, my Little Guy HAD to ask "what's that noise, mom?" and he does't like Stargate, either, the twirp, I can tell we're not going to have much in common taste-wise when he grows up!)
So, does anyone on my flist have any suggestions? I have some World music that fits the bill, and Enya, and so forth, and as long as the music isn't drawing attention to itself, that's what I'm looking for.
