Where sisters come from

gategrrlThis weekend, I woke up to Little Guy grinning at me. We did the good mornings, and for some reason, where he came from came up again. He was a homebirth, and I reconfirmed to him that yes, he was born in *A* house, although not *this* house, but that yes, he was born out of my tummy and onto *this* bed.
He nods. Smiles a little. (remember, he's 4-1/2 years old) Then he says that Mermaid, his older sister, must have been bought from the Zoo. From the bird house, to be specific.
I cracked up.
He started laughing, too; I think he'd been concocting that scenerio for a while!
